Author: Manon Moulin My name is Francesco Giordano. I’m a queer photographer living and working in Munich, Germany. I have Italian and Spanish roots and I was born in southern Germany in 1992. My focus is on LGBTQIA+ topics, intersectionality, and migration. With my collaborative projects like „Rainbow Refugees (Stories)“, „377. Inside India’s Community“, and „queer:raum“, I create more visibility for marginalised groups and queer issues. I’m inspired by diversity, the cohesion of communities, and their striving to improve society. My photography is all about telling a story and creating a gentle connection between viewer and work to make people think. The most important aspect for me, however, is to portray my models with pride and dignity. In addition to my work as a photographer, I’m also an initiator, organiser, and creative artist by putting on interdisciplinary exhibitions and events in the public space. My projects are all about bringing people together, creating a stage and finding cooperation partners in society that help me to initiate a change.
