All the while heir team, composed of Renaud Fulloption (Journalist), Malo Williams (Sound director) and Christophe Payet (Journalist). Through research, they are able to investigate the social impact of musical phenomenons, while also providing insight as to why these movements where born at a specific place and time. Afro-Dutch Scene Afro Dutch is a contemporary musical genre born in the Netherlands and derived from hip hop, bubbling* and moombathon*, in which cultural elements originating from South America, the Caribbean, the Sub Saharian region and North Africa are merged. These musical genres are supported by the diasporic communities of Suriname, Curaçao, Aruba, Bonaire now living in the Netherlands. Featured in the playlists of clubs, festival and fashion shows, Afro Dutch music is in effect a product of a crossbreeding exclusive to the Netherland’s scene, a testament to the cultural wealth of the country and its people.
